NPR’s Terry Gross came to the Music Hall at Strathmore to share with avid listeners, curious newcomers, and fans alike. As she started the evening, I knew we were in for a good time! She must have taken a cue from speech writers and started off with jokes. Although, you don’t think of Terry Gross as a jokester, she was very funny. Taking jabs at her own appearance, suggesting that she doesn’t look like people think she does and the wearing of sandals despite the February night air, due to a, “toe problem”.
