MOVIES OF THE WEEK
I’ll be honest: I haven’t seen anything Nicole Kidman has done since Eyes Wide Shut. That was eleven years ago, and I was a young man. Since then, a lot of the movies she’s done (maybe more in part from her very public divorce from Tom Cruise) have earned her much acclaim. Seems leaving behind the artistic failures like Batman Forever have done her career some good though many of her films during that eleven year period have not been the most profitable. So while watching Rabbit Hole, there was no expectation to see yet another great performance from me. I’d simply been out of the loop all this time. But for those Kidman fans out there, she doesn’t disappoint in Rabbit Hole.
