Strathmore celebrates the first concert of its 2012-13 season and hometown rocker Pat McGee’s first time headlining the Music Center with the Pat McGee Pre-Gig Tailgate Party on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. Fans know that over the course of his career, McGee has amassed a huge following and a loyal collegiate fan base—with his music gaining national popularity shortly after his 1995 debut. A tailgate seemed an appropriate tribute to this college campus favorite—and McGee will make a pre-concert appearance at the event. Strathmore today announces its 2012-2013 season – marked by highlights including the season-long exploration Storied Strings: The Violin in America, a number of theatrical productions that stretch the adaptability of the Music Center and the Strathmore Children’s Chorus.
