Good morning my fellow readers,
This weekend was a glorious night for The King’s Speech and Inception as they both won 4 Oscars. TRR attended some major events this weekend including sending one of our writers to see the Oscar setup, Video Game Live at the Strathmore, and listening to some Shakespeare in Klingonese. This week, we will listen to the docent news tones of Dan Rather and produce some glorious movie reviews for Rango, The Adjustment Bureau, & Take Me Home Tonight. Today, we have the two movies that featured this year’s Oscar hosts Anne Hathaway & James Franco, a former Oscar winner’s latest musical, and Do you Smell what Dwayne Johnson is cooking? We answers those inquiries and a lot more with the weekly…

This morning, the 68th Annual Golden Globe Nominees were announced! Among the heavy hitters this year were, by no surprise, The Social Network, The King’s Speech and The Fighter. While this year’s nominees seemed decent, there are a few questionables in the crowd. People like to feel good. We go to the movies to feel good. We take drugs to feel good (both the medicinal kind as well as the recreational kind). We have sex because it feels good. And lastly money makes us feel good and allows us to be able to afford the better things in life. And probably the thing that makes us feel the best in life is Love itself. It’s a rush of adrenaline and a drug all in itself. Love and Other Drugs is a movie that sets out to show us the role all of these things play in our lives, and how society and industries like the pharmaceutical industry can influence us all.
