Moonshine War picks up mere moments where last season’s exciting finale left off. And what a great finale that was. Boyd Crowder (The Shield’s Walton Goggins) is alive and well and on the tail of the cartel’s lone surviving assassin who just executed Boyd’s father. Raylan tails him and eventually catches up to him, and the Marshal service puts the squeeze on the Miami drug cartel to ensure that Raylan is no longer pursued in exchange for allowing the surviving assassin to live.
