TV REVUE – Justified: Debts and Accounts

Justified is a show that likes to bounce around, unafraid to pick up plot strands and check in with characters we haven’t seen in sometime every few episodes or so. This may sound like a complaint, but it’s really more of an observation if anything. Take Boyd’s screen time for example: he spends much of the episode recruiting help to take over his old drug dealing habits. His cousin Johnny and several other old acquaintances we haven’t seen since season one make an appearance here. Boyd’s charisma is on full display as he manages to convince others to do his bidding. It’s a great moment to see the old Boyd in action, but the re-introduction of these old characters is very sudden.
