IT’S COOK OR BE COOKED: New Original Series Knife Fight Debuts Tuesday, April 23 on Esquire Network

 

KNIFE FIGHT, a gritty new cooking competition show hosted by Top Chef Season 2 winner Ilan Hall, premieres Tuesday, April 23 at 9P E/P on the new Esquire Network. The 10-episode series features underground, after-hours cooking bouts between Los Angeles’s most exciting chefs at The Gorbals, Hall’s downtown restaurant.

GSN Acquires Sale of the Century and New Episodes of Press Your Luck to Launch April 1st

 

GSN announced today a host of new acquisitions of classic game shows and episodes, including the GSN premiere of SALE OF THE CENTURY, featuring 65 episodes that originally aired on NBC in 1988–89 with host Jim Perry. In addition, the network will debut 57 new-to-GSN episodes of PRESS YOUR LUCK from 1983–84 with host Peter Tomarken. SALE OF THE CENTURY and the new episodes of PRESS YOUR LUCK will premiere on GSN on April 1, 2013. New episodes of PRESS YOUR LUCK will premiere at 9:00am ET and SALE OF THE CENTURY will premiere at 9:30am ET.

GSN announces the launch of “The American Bible Challenge Bible Study” – a 10-week Bible Study hosted by author and television producer Phil Cooke.  THE AMERICAN BIBLE CHALLENGE, a studio-based game show hosted by author and comedian Jeff Foxworthy in which contestants compete based on their knowledge of the Bible, returns for a 2^nd season on Thursday, March 21^st at 9:00pm ET/PT on GSN.

Apolo Anton Ohno to Host GSN’s “Minute to Win It” Revival

 

GSN announced today that Apolo Anton Ohno, one of the most decorated American athletes of all time and DANCING WITH THE STARS champion, will be the host of GSN’s new series MINUTE TO WIN IT.  GSN’s production of 40 new original episodes marks the first time the series has been developed by a U.S. cable network.  The episodes are to be produced by Shine America – based on the format owned by Shine’s sister company Friday TV.  MINUTE TO WIN IT begins production in March and is slated to premiere in summer 2013.
