Today, Chris Wallace (“Fox News Sunday”) won his “Jeopardy! Power Players” match, earning $50,000 on behalf of Hope for the Warriors. The organization strives to enhance the quality of life for U.S. service members and their families who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty.
Wallace began supporting the charity a year ago. He said, “It provides all kinds of support programs for returning wounded soldiers and their families and families of the fallen. I can’t think of any better cause than honoring and helping the military families that sacrifice so much to protect us.”
Wallace defeated Katty Kay (“BBC World News America”) and Dr. Mehmet Oz (“The Dr. Oz Show”). As runner-ups, they received $10,000 for their special causes. Kay played for the International Women’s Media Foundation and Oz competed for HealthCorps.
Power Players Lewis Black, Clarence Page and Chuck Todd will compete tomorrow. For more details, please visit www.jeopardy.com/powerplayers or www.wjla.com/jeopardy.
