Legendary newscaster Ron Burgundy announced today that a teaser trailer for “Anchorman 2″ will appear exclusively on “The Dictator,”. Said Burgundy in a tweet, “I don’t know what a teaser trailer is either but they say you all will. When did the world get so crazy? I’m having a scotch.”
In other news, The Lebanese Cinema Movie Guide has posted the very first teaser poster for the sequel, now titled Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Check it out below!
In addition to Ferrell, the sequel will star Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd with further talent new and returning expected to be announced soon. What’s more, the film now seems set for a 2013 release meaning that Ron will be back in theaters even earlier than was originally anticipated.
