AWARD SEASON NEWS: The Stars Shine at the Golden Globes
Hello readers,
The 67th Golden Globe Awards was entertaining to watch this year. With every year that passes in the world of movies, the awards shows continue to give us the highlights and the moments you will read about in the news the next day. Comedian Ricky Gervais kept the audience laughing for the three hour event. Although, some of his jokes were a bit flat, he did a decent job as host and I hope that we get to see more of him in the near future. The one thing he pushed to the limit for me was that he promoted his work like the Office and The Invention of Lying during his monologue. It was quite entertaining. Then, came the winners of this year’s awards! Some of them were expected while many came as a shock to me. After watching this, I can say that the gauntlet has been thrown down for the Oscars. Let me get off my soapbox and present to you, the winners of the 67th Annual GOLDEN GLOBES!
